Calling all creatives!
Applications for the Luton Create Fund are now open and we would love to hear from you. We have dedicated part of the fund specifically to projects that work with education and schools. Like the broader Luton Create Fund, this strand aims to support the creation of new work to reach and engage new, diverse participants across all wards of Luton.
Whether you're into visual arts, film, storytelling, or music, we have funding opportunities to bring your ideas to life.
We would love to see commissions that expand and challenge young people’s perspective on culture and are relevant to the realities of young people in Luton.
Your target audience should be young people and children as pupils or learners, teachers and school staff, parents and caregivers, or home school groups.
Both individuals and organisations can apply, including schools, parent teacher associations or individual practitioners.
You don’t need to have a relationship with, or experience working in an educational space to apply. All that we ask is that you have thought through what area would you like to work in, what year group, when, why, and have an idea of which school or education provider you would want to work with.
You have until midday on September 26th to share your expression of interest (aka your ideas) with us!
Visit the Luton Arts website to apply now https://lutonarts.co.uk/application-hub/ or email Karene.horner-hughes@beds.ac.uk with any questions.
Together, let's make Luton even more vibrant
