The commission is for a/an artist(s) to undertake a research and development phase involving children and young people leading to the final ‘work’ being presented at Hullabaloo Festival in Houghton Regis. We are particularly interested in applications from performers, storytellers, dance or combined arts practices.
This could be a totally new idea, or something you have been working on but needs further research and development time. Your work will form part of the Hullabaloo Festival Programme on the 13th September 2025. The form of the final sharing is open but could be things like performances, participative workshops or an immersive installation designed to take place outdoors.
As part of the commission process you will attend 4 mentoring sessions to support you in developing your idea, exploring co-creation opportunities and reflecting on your next steps.
