We know there’s more to Peterborough than meets the eye. Positive Notes is all about uncovering the hidden gems of Peterborough’s history, in particular celebrating stories of LGBTQIA+, global majority, migrant, and refugee individuals. This project, supported by Historic England’s History in the Making grant, will bring these narratives to life through public art, co-created with young people in the city.

We’re looking for a Lead Artist to guide and inspire this creative journey. If you have experience working with young people and are passionate about changing the narrative of Peterborough, we’d love to hear from you!

The commission includes:

·        A fee of £5,100

·        A separate budget for materials

·        The opportunity to co-create meaningful public artwork with young people

The direction of the artwork will be led by the young people involved, making this an exciting, collaborative process.

Deadline to apply: Thursday 10 April
