Central Bedfordshire Council invites proposals from artists skilled in delivering public art to create 2-4 high quality public art installations at the new Leighton Leisure and Community Centre due to open in Summer 2026. Leighton Leisure and Community Centre

This public art commission offers a budget of up to £100,000 and will be funded out of S106 public realm money. It offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop and deliver permanent public artwork to showcase the activities which will be available within the new Leisure Centre, celebrate health, fitness and wellbeing or the distinctiveness of the local area. The artworks should be attractive to look at and be robust in an outdoor environment.

This might end up as one contract or 2-4 contracts.
